Bearing in mind the revolutionization of information technology and consequently, electronic communication, a basic understanding of regulations and ordinances governing the same becomes crucial. The book ‘Internet Law’ has been written, as the name suggests, to become a standardized book which enunciates the various aspects of cyber laws in India, which includes crimes, security, governance, technology, contracts, etc. taking place through the medium of the internet. The author, Mr. Rodney D. Ryder, is a founding partner of Scriboard; a full-service commercial law firm with a specialist practice in Intellectual Property, Information Technology, and media and has been an advisor to the Ministry of Communication and Information Technology on the implementation of the primary law governing electronic commerce and cybercrimes in India; the Information Technology Act, 2000. Assisting and aiding him in this venture, Mr. Nikhil Naren, a trainee advocate with Scriboard, has also contributed to this project not only in terms of actual input to the book  but also by assisting and putting together a team of Research Associates in order to ensure the maximum research and efforts be put into this project to ensure the highest quality.
