e-Magazine

In furtherance of its aim to create and sustain a holistic space for technology and intellectual property enthusiasts to have a productive dialogue on topics of InfoTech and Intellectual Property, Metacept is bringing out its bi-monthly magazine. The e-Magazine will contain articles from students, practitioners, policymakers, inter alia discussing the latest happenings and leading developments in the space of InfoTech and IPR.

Metacept® | InfoTech and IP Laws has launched its e-Magazine [Bi-Monthly] starting July 2020.

Hon’ble Justice (Retd.) Shri Dipak Misra Ji, Former Chief Justice of India has humbly agreed to write a message for us for our inaugural edition.

Accordingly, we invite all the InfoTech and IPR Laws enthusiasts including but not limited to practitioners, students, policy researchers, to send us articles that may get published in the e-Magazine.

We also get the e-Magazine registered through the National Centre for ISSN, India.

Call for Articles for e-magazine – Submission on a rolling basis

Metacept – InfoTech and IPR has been created with an objective of developing and sustaining a platform for a productive discussion on the ever-evolving fields of Information Technology [InfoTech] and Intellectual Property Rights [IPR] Laws. We aim at promoting a diversity of viewpoints, ideas, and ideologies. 

Call for Articles

Metacept is inviting submissions in the form of Articles for the first volume of its e-Magazine to be published in July 2020. Submissions are invited from students, academics, practitioners, early career researchers, policy-makers, and members of civil society organizations. The submissions will be on a rolling basis.

Topic

The authors are at liberty to choose any topic of their liking, but strictly restraining themselves to the domain of InfoTech and IPR. They can discuss the role of any act or acts of the government or authorities, write on contemporary issues, bring forth new ideas regarding the regulation of new technologies, both on the local, as well as the international front. 

Submission Guidelines

  • The word limit for the manuscripts is between 1000-1200 words, inclusive of footnotes.
  • All submissions must be in Times New Roman, font size 12 and Spacing 1.15.
  • The footnotes must be in Times New Roman, font size 10 and Spacing 1.15.
  • Co-authorship by a maximum of two is permitted.
  • Style of citation: Bluebook 20th, edn.
  • All entries should be submitted in .doc or .docx format.
  • The entries must be original, unpublished and an outcome of the author’s own efforts.  Plagiarism above 20% will lead to disqualification of the manuscripts.

Rewards

The selected manuscripts will be published and all such contributions will be acknowledged in the magazine. Also, all the publications will be facilitated with an e-certificate.

Submission Details: The submissions must be made by dropping in an email to [email protected] and cc to [email protected], the subject of the mail being ‘Article Submission for E-Magazine’. The submissions will be accepted on a rolling basis for the next bi-monthly issue.
